About Tyler & The Wakesurf Party

I’m Tyler Stewart — a three-time world champ wakesurfer and the guy behind The Wakesurf Party. I grew up on the lakes in Minnesota, and my family’s always been into watersports. I started wakesurfing when I was 13, just messing around in local comps for fun. By 2018, I got more serious and ended up taking 2nd at Nationals. A year later, I won Worlds in the Outlaw division, and in 2020, I dropped my first pro model with Kanuk Board Co and went on a run — nine wins that season and my first pro world title. In 2022, I went undefeated and locked in my second world title in Pro Men Skim.

The Wakesurf Party is my way of giving back to the sport and keeping it growing. I offer private coaching, sell boards and gear, host events, and often collaborate with Operation Wakesurf which shares our sport with military, first responders, and veterans. Whether you’re brand new or trying to land that next trick, I’ll help you get there and have a good time doing it. I’m based in Minnesota during the summer and Arizona in the winter — always chasing warm water and a clean wave.
